Introduction To R/3 at Duke
Introduction to R/3 at Duke is a mandatory course that must be taken before registering for any other R/3 course. If you have taken the Introduction to R/3 class previously, you do not have to take it again.
The six parts of the online introductory course are:
Part 1: Overview
Part 2: Getting Started
Part 3: Navigating R/3
Part 4: Personalizing R/3
Part 5: Tips and Tricks
Part 6: Common R/3 Language
You must complete each part in consecutive order. However, once you successfully complete a Part, you will be able to review it again at any time.
When you click on a course part above, you will be redirected to a secure website.
- When your Web browser prompts you with a Security Alert, click Yes.
- When you are prompted to accept a security certificate, accept the certificate by following the instructions that appear on your screen.
- You will be prompted to enter your NET ID (a.k.a. SAP R/3) User Name and Password. Enter each in the appropriate space and click OK .
These presentations are best viewed at an 800x600 resolution in Internet Explorer, but is useable at higher resolutions. At a minimum, you will need Netscape version 4.75 (or greater) or Internet Explorer version 4.0 (or greater) to properly view the presentations.
We have designed the training to be compatible with web browsers supported at Duke. If you have difficulties displaying the presentation or problems with your NET ID, please contact the appropriate help desk.
