Human Resources and Payroll In SAP

To improve Human Resources processes and to integrate Human Resources and Payroll into one system, Human Resources and Corporate Payroll have converted to the use of SAP. By doing this, the following were accomplished:

  • Processes were streamlined and classification, recruiting, and hiring were automated.
  • Terminology is consistent for biweekly, faculty/staff, and non-compensatory payrolls
  • Data has been improved by being more accessible and timely

The special features of this system include:

  • An Enterprise-wide administrative system that includes ledger of record since July 1999 (financial & procurement system for Health System divisions; and the first phase of financial implementation in the University and the Medical Center)
  • Resumix application tracking system
  • Web front end applications
  • Integration as HR-Payroll system & with other SAP modules
  • System navigation is consistent throughout all modules.
